Big Sister and Study Buddy Opportunities – Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland

Girls need positive role models.  You can help.

Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland needs your help.  There are an unprecedented 180 girls currently on our waitlist and we want to match these girls with Big Sisters as soon as we can.  Our volunteer mentors provide role models for girls (7 to 17) and, through their supportive mentorship and friendship, enhance the self esteem of girls who are facing many uncertainties and pressures as they grow up.  Many Little Sisters have difficulty believing in themselves.  Your belief in your Little Sister may be the pivotal change that she needs.  At Big Sisters we have the privilege of seeing how a caring mentor can make a huge difference in the life of a young girl.  Will you be part of making this difference?  There are two ways you can help:

Become a Big Sister – Spend 3 hours a week with a Little Sister doing fun activities you both enjoy!

Become a Study Buddy – Spend just 1 hour a week helping a young girl meet her academic goals!

Visit www.bigsisters.bc.ca or call 604-873-4525 ext. 300 for more info!  We need you!
