Nov 30 – SCWIST Brown Bag Meeting: Career Transitions

The Brown Bag Series is a monthly event organized by the Society of Canadian Women in Science and Technology (SCWIST) whose purpose is to provide a place for learning and discussion of topics to help women in STEM fields advance their careers.

Time: 12:00-1:30 PM

Place: UBC Point Grey Campus, Biodiversity Research Centre (Room 224)

Topic: Career Transitions

In this meeting, we will talk about career transitions. Our invited speakers are role models from academia, industry and non-traditional fields who will share their insights and discuss about the choices and issues they considered at different stages of their careers. Tea, coffee and cookies will be served so please bring your own mug.
