Feb 9: BC WEN AGM & Luncheon

BC WEN are very excited to confirm that Tzeporah Berman is the guest speaker for the February 9th Luncheon and AGM.  Tzeporah is one of the most respected voices in Canada’s environmental and climate change movement.  She co-founded Power-up Canada, currently works for Greenpeace and recently authored This Crazy Time.  She will provide remarks and answer Q&A as well as have copies of her book for purchase.

BC WEN is accepting board nominations and will be voting in up to two new board members at the AGM.  You must be a member to be nominated, and of course a member to vote!

If you would like to stand for a position, please send BC WEN your bio by January 31st. If you cannot attend the AGM in person they will ask you to send a brief description of your interests in being on the board as well.  Board meetings are held approximately every three months.  Board members are expected to provide guidance and ideas, and assist with activities where necessary.

As always, our events are open to everyone.
