A New Generation of Women in Science: Inspiring Video of Girls at the White House Science Fair

“Want to be inspired? Click on the video below to see Girls in STEM – young scientists and engineers hosted at the White House who impressed President Obama and the nation with their innovations.

Their projects range from a machine that detects buried landmines, to a prosthetic hand device, to a lunchbox that uses UV light to kill bacteria on food. The video shows these young women testifying to the power of aiming high and to not letting limits stand in your way: “There are infinite possibilities and being a woman does not hold you back. Science and math were the cool answers to most of my why questions.”
