JOIN THE WOMEN IN MINING VANCOUVER BRANCH
For a Fundraising/Networking Event in support of the CIBC Run for the Cure  

For the sixth consecutive year, the WIM team will be participating in the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure on October 6, 2013.

They are hosting theirt fundraiser of the year…..

WHAT:            AIR HOCKEY TOURNAMENT – Winner takes the table home                                                                                                                                                                (generously donated by Weatherhaven)

WHEN:           THURSDAY, APRIL 18, 2013 – 5:00pm to 7:30pm

WHERE:        JOES APARTMENT – 919 Granville Street, Vancouver

WHY:            To enjoy a great evening of fun and networking, as well, you will be supporting Women in Mining and                                                                                             the CIBC Run for the Cure.

Tickets are $20 each, which includes TWO free drinks, and entry into the tournament.  You can buy tickets online at www.wimairhockeytournament.eventbrite.com  or via email through runwimvan@gmail.com to arrange pick up of hard copy tickets.

Join them to network with fellow peers while raising money for our team efforts.

The Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run that raises funds for the foundation in the largest single-day, volunteer-led event in Canada in support of the breast cancer cause.

In the past six years we have raised over $164,000 and won the Corporate
Spirit Award in 2010. This year, we hope to continue giving hope and saving lives globally. Our goal is to have a team of 75 runners/walkers and collaboratively raise $25,000 for this worthy cause.
