Community Leadership & Excellence Awards
Dr. Pauline Johnson, Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at UBC and Dr. Lia Merminga, Head of the Accelerator Division for TRIUMF

Philanthropy Award
Dr. Carol Lane, Neuroscientist and assistant clinical professor in the Faculty of Medicine at UBC

Emerging Leader Award
Jacquelyn Cragg, Third year PhD student at UBC’s School of Population and Public Health

“The Minerva Foundation is excited to highlight the leading roles of Pauline, Lia, Carol and Jacquelyn in the British Columbia science industry,” said Filomena Nalewajek, interim CEO of Minerva Foundation for BC Women. “This year’s event demonstrates that women are making a difference in the academic, education and business aspects of science in BC.”
