Article: Google Bets $50 Million on Inspiring Girls to Become Coders

Google plans to invest $50 million into its “Made with Code” initiative over the next three years. This initiative includes an interactive website that allows visitors to try small coding projects like designing a bracelet design for 3D printers. “Made with Code” was launched around the time Google released their diversity report which revealed that women make up just 17% of its tech workforce.
