WWEST Council

The WWEST Council is an information and support network for groups engaged in the advancement of Westcoast (BC/Yukon) women in engineering, science and technology.

The WWEST Council aims to increase coordination between the many groups active in promoting or supporting women in SET (science, engineering and technology) in the BC/Yukon region.

Among other things, the WWEST Council groups report on opportunities of general interest to the other constituent groups, share best practices, coordinate joint events and provide coordinated communication tools.

By implementing and leveraging such coordination, each group is able to take advantage of the greater numbers, resources, connections and exposure we collectively represent, and together we raise the level of public awareness around women in SET
