Financial Post: Canada’s most powerful women

In honor of women who are 2011’s top leaders and achievers in the public, private and non-profit sector , The Women Executive Network presents Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 awards.

This year’s recipients include Frieda Granot, senior associate dean of strategic development and external relations for the Sauder School of Business at UBC. She was appointed the first female dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, and in 2007, appointed a Member of the Order of Canada. Granot has helped raise millions of dollars to support students with disabilities, Aboriginal students and women in science.
