For the runners, the scientists or just the curious, this is an event for you!
The Science Fair Foundation of BC is hosting their 13th Annual PMC Science Fair Fun Run! This is one of the largest timed 5k Fun Runs in Vancouver. Come join the fun, be eligible for prize draws, enjoy post-race refreshments and fun activities at Telus World of Science, and talk to young students about their national award winning science projects! You can also join the team challenge with your student club, labmates, or friends to run the race together! You only need 5 runners to start a team!
All proceeds raised from the run will go towards the Dr. Michael Smith Science Fair Endowment fund to support Science Fair Programs in BC.
The Science Fair Foundation of BC is non-profit society committed to promote and foster science fair programs for BC elementary and high school students. This Science Fair Foundation supports programs to bring enthusiasm and curiosity in science to youth in BC and to assist in providing them with the opportunity to participate in science fairs regionally, nationally and internationally. Every year, more than 60,000 students from 800 schools participate in Science Fairs in BC and more than 1,000 educators and professionals in science and technology volunteer their time as judges and mentors to support this program.
