SEP 20 & OCT 16: CWSE-ON Free Negotiation Skills Workshops

The NSERC / Pratt & Whitney Canada Chair for Women in Science and Engineering is hosting free negotiation skills workshops in Ottawa and Toronto and you’re invited!

The free day-long workshops focus on the basics of negotiation in a professional context. Emphasis will be placed on practicing new skills and applying concepts to real case studies from the fields of science, technology, engineering and math.

This will be an excellent opportunity to reflect on past negotiation experiences and plan for success at your next negotiation.

By the end of the day, participants will have increased their ability to negotiate confidently and effectively in the workplace.

Who:  Early- to mid-career women in science, tech, engineering or math
What:
Free 1-day negotiation skills workshop. Lunch and snacks will be served.
Where:
University of Ottawa (2 dates) and University of Toronto (1 date)
When:
Ottawa (Sept 20, Oct 16), Toronto (TBD), 9am to 4pm

How to participate

If you would like to register, please send an email to jerie.shaw@gmail.com with your name and which workshop date / location you would like to attend. Upon receipt of your email, you will be sent a confirmation with additional information about the workshop, including location and room details, parking information, and so on.
