BC WEN Luncheon and Grouse Mountain Turbine Tour

Join the BC WEN(Women in Energy Network) for a tour of the Grouse Mountain wind turbine and luncheon.

The group will meet at the base of Grouse Mountain at 10:00 am, tour the turbine for about an hour and a half and then return to the restaurant for lunch.  After lunch is served there will be a presentation from the Grouse Mountain staff on the installation and operations of the turbine, and hear a few words from an industry speaker (TBD) on the wind energy industry.

Schedule:
Meet at base of Grouse for skyride at 10:00 am
Tour 10:15 – 11:45 am
Lunch served at noon
Wrap up by 1:30 pm

    Can we meet at the top of Grouse (ie. If we hike the grind, can we join the tour at the top?)
