Future Science Leaders Program at Science World for BC High School Students (Grade 10 and 11)

Science World is proud to present their Future Science Leaders Program for exceptional grade 10 and 11 students who are “insatiably curious, eager to challenge themselves and willing to take risks exploring new ideas and technologies”

The Future Science Leaders Program aims to inspire and challenge top BC high school students (Grade 10 and 11), providing them with academic, social and intellectual opportunities to launch a career in science.Students in this program interact with leading professionals in different areas of science and technology.

Students will learn various important science and engineering skills –hands on strategies for laboratories, as well as techniques in the analysis and evaluation of scientific data.Covering theoretical and applied components of various areas – from math and technology to biology and earth and space science – students will create projects to be entered into international science, engineering and match competitions.The skills and topics provided by the program will be of a level usually reserved for university classes. Students in the program will also have the unique opportunity to connect with designated mentors to ensure that they will have access to local, regional, national and international opportunities in science and technology.
