Article: Stories for, by and about Women in Science – Top Women in Science to Follow on Twitter!

In her post “Top Women in Science to Follow on Twitter”, Tunisia L. Riley compiles a list of individuals, associations and organizations that women and girls in STEM should follow, including the Anita Borg Institute, the ADVANCE program at Brown University, Geek Girl Camp, the Society of Women Engineers and numerous others.

“Twitter has been described as an information network and a medium to obtain and share information quickly. For women and girls in STEM this can translate into funding for research through the announcement of scholarships or it could lead you to your next internship. Beyond possible funding twitter could lead you to your next mentor or sister in science to help you navigate the treacherous waters of research”
