May 22-24 : CCWESTT 2014

Save the date!  May 22-24, 2014

The Canadian Coalition for Women in Engineering, Science, Trades and Technology (CWESTT) Conference 2014 Organizing Committee is working hard to prepare for your arrival in Regina, May 22-24, 2014. We encourage you to consider coming a day early to participate in volunteer, cultural, and other fun activities we’ve planned for delegates on May 21.

Our conference theme, Open Opportunities: Mentoring the Future reflects not only our hopes and dreams for the future, but also embodies a big Prairie sky full of possibilities with an unobstructed horizon.

We have a diverse and dynamic team that is excited to share with you a warm Prairie welcome. Please consider coming early for optional pre-conference special events and activities and join us for the big event itself – the conference!

Our vision for CCWESTT 2014 is:

Working together to create open opportunities for women to choose and advance in science, engineering, trades and technology (SETT) by:

  • Raising awareness to youth, educators, and diversity groups of the opportunities for women in SETT careers;
  • Providing immediate and practical tools to empower, create, and explore a new status quo;
  • Stimulating networking and mentoring opportunities.
