Dr. Diana Franklin, Director of Computer Science Education Research at the University of Chicago, will be presenting a seminar on diversity in computing science. She will draw on the latest research that identifies why we should strive for gender diversity, present obstacles that females face, and tips for how to reduce those obstacles.
