The Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology and Science World are once again collaborating to create a lively evening of networking!
We will invite women studying science, technology, and engineering, and women who are considering career changes, to come to TELUS World of Science to meet women with careers in science and technology (That could include you!). There’s a panel discussion, and a chance to network informally, pizza and pop for supper, and a fabulous Omnimax movie.
This is an easy, fun, and rewarding way to share some insights into your work with young women. All you have to do is tell the assembled crowd (in one sentence) what you do for a living, and then be available to chat one-on-one with the participants.
This year’s event is planned for Thursday, March 7, 2013. It will start around 5:30 pm and be over before 10.
Email Sanda Eix if you’re interested (seix@scienceworld.ca), and you will be added to the list. Space is limited for this popular annual event so don’t delay! If you have someone in mind who would be great for this event, please don’t hesitate to contact Sanda also.
