Article: Engineering Salaries on the Rise, Gender Gap is Narrowing

“The job market appears to be slowly recovering from slump, manufacturing is rising, and the U.S. economy is showing signs of stabilizing. Now that the clouds are finally lifting, there’s good news for engineers on the pay front too, per the results of the 2012 Engineering Income and Salary Survey, conducted by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), which shows that salaries of engineers have increased over the last year”
