A Symposium on Women in Engineering will be held on June 2nd at the CSME International Congress at the University of Toronto,( June 1-4, 2014) organized by Prof Christine Q. Wu, University of Manitoba and Prof. Catherine Mavriplis, University of Ottawa and the NSERC Chair for Women in Science and Engineering, Ontario region.

The symposium is devoted to celebrating women in engineering. The half-day event offers professional enrichment, bringing women at different levels of their careers with various career paths together to share and to inspire. Symposium attendees enjoy presentations and workshops, plus a networking opportunity. The symposium is free for those who register for the CSME International Congress 2014 and $100 for the registration of the Symposium only.
