Oct 24: Girls Exploring Physics workshop

Girls Exploring Physics is a free workshop for girls in grades 9 and 10 held at the SFU Burnaby campus. This half day long workshop includes two hands-on activities in physics. There will also be a discussion of the career opportunities available to students who study physics at the university level. During the lunch provided to the participants, they will have a chance to interact informally with women physics faculty and students from SFU.

The next workshop will be held on Friday October 24, 2014. Please contact sjohnson@sfu.ca for more details.
