Mar 3: Deadline for applications for Minerva’s Learning to Lead

The Minerva Foundation’s Learning to Lead™ BC Program is an annual weekend program held at UBC.  This year’s event takes place on May 23-25 and provides girls and emerging women leaders, including graduate students, with the opportunity to be mentored by accomplished women leaders in business, government and the community.

Twenty-four Grade 11 students, 24 emerging leaders, and 24 business and community leaders from around the province will interact and learn from one another through a series of workshops and activities. A special effort is extended to ensure inclusion of the Aboriginal women’s community.

Students: Minerva invites all BC high schools to recommend one outstanding female Grade 11 student leader. Each school may submit one application, or two if one applicant is First Nations.  Contact your school principal or counselor to apply

Emerging Leaders: Minerva works with business partners, professional and community organizations, universities and colleges to invite young leaders who seek mentoring and development opportunities to apply.  Click here to download the application form.

Community Leaders: Minerva invites established women leaders from the business, government, academic and community sectors who are willing to mentor younger leaders to send us an expression of interest for the program. Diversity in age, background, ethnicity and discipline are sought.
