Our WWEST Partner GEERing Up! has just opened registration for their 2014 summer camps.

GEERing Up! camps are all about making Science, Technology and Engineering hands on and exciting. Each day is a dynamic mix of hands-on activities, demonstrations, tours, mentors, and design challenges. The camps are taught by experienced university students with a passion for their field of study. They also ensure each camper spends at least one hour of each day participating in active games outside. Girls Only! camps offer the same activities as their co-ed counterparts in a Girls Only! environment with a few surprise twists.

GEERing Up! offers two new camps this year: MiniMinds (for kids entering grade 1 in September) and MasterMinds (for students entering grades 11 or 12 in September).  They have also expanded Explorers and Imagineers so that campers can attend for two weeks full of different activities.  To allow the camps to be accessible to as many youth as possible, GEERing Up! offers bursaries to campers with a demonstrated financial need.
