Nov 26: BCWEN Fraser Valley Biogas Tour

FortisBC has kindly offered to arrange coach transportation from their Surrey office for the biogas facility tour taking place next Tuesday.

If you are interested in attending and/or joining in the transportation, please email jessica.mcilroy@bcwen.ca by end of day Wednesday, Nov 20.

Fraser Valley Biogas utilizes on-farm manure and off-farm food waste to produce methane and high quality fertilizer through a process of anaerobic digestion. The methane is scrubbed and transported to thousands of homes throughout British Columbia by FortisBC and the fertilizer is used by farmers to grow local crops.
