The final report of the Government of Canada’s Advisory Council to promote women on boards has been released. The recommendations include aspiring to 30% of boards comprised of women over five years. Maryam Mirzakhani, an Iranian maths professor at Stanford University, has been awarded the highest honour a mathematician can attain.
